I freaked out whenever I saw this:
That's a red dragonfly.
I had never seen a red dragonfly before. After I saw it, I was pretty sure some ninjas were going to jump out of the bushes and start throwing Chinese stars at me or something.

Beautiful. We have lots of dragonflies. Many are brilliant blues, greens and are iridescent. Great photo.

DeleteYes, but when we lived in another state, Oregon. We now live in Arizona and if they are in the state I haven't seen one. Lots of stinging and biting critters though. Smile....
