(With over 15,000 square feet of exhibits, it is the largest Civil War museum west of the Mississippi River. The museum gallery is shared with exhibits on loan from the United Daughters of the Confederacy, the Texas Division.  The museum consists of three separate galleries that display a civil war collection, Victorian dress collection and United Daughters of the Confederacy Texas Confederate collection.)

(Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame honors Texas men and women who have excelled in the sport and business of rodeo, and the western lifestyle.)

(The Veterans Memorial Air Park (VMAP) is a group of organizations dedicated to preserving and promoting the history of aviation in Fort Worth, the North Texas region, and around the world.)

(Twenty aircraft are on exhibit including several which are extremely rare and historic. Additional displays include a dedicated reciprocal and jet engine room, an FAA Aviation Education Resource Center, WWII memorabilia and artifact exhibits, a unique aircraft model exhibit and gift shop.)

(Standup Paddle Boarding (SUP) is the newest fitness craze to sweep the country. This hybrid sport combines lower, mid and upper body muscle groups to give you one of the best workouts available.)

(Kayaking the Trinity River is a new and unique way to explore Fort Worth. Backwoods has kayaks, tandem kayaks and canoes available to rent.)

(Burger's Lake is a 30-acre park featuring a one-acre spring-fed lake for swimming. Our facility includes:  Two sandy beaches for sunning; wonderful big trees for shade; a complete staff of certified lifeguards; over 300 picnic tables; six diving boards, a 20-foot slide and 25-foot trapeze; charcoal grills for cooking; plus much more.

(Cowtown Wakepark brings wakeboarding, the country’s hottest water sport, to Fort Worth in a whole new way – there’s no boat and you don’t need any experience or equipment.)
